Chad is always the first to sign up for any community initiative without asking the demands or length of time it may take to be at an event. He is simply happy to help. His personality and contagious smile bring positive energy to those he interacts with, no matter how young or old!
He believes in giving back on a daily basis from school visits, food drives, and minor hockey. Chad says, ?I have been very fortunate to be born in a family that can afford to put food on the table for three meals a day. This is why I take pride in doing community work such as assembling food hampers or donating hygiene products to the less fortunate. For me, to donate a small portion of my day to help these people out is the least I could do!?
Chad grew up in a big city and he understands that he can be a positive role model in a smaller city where the community involvement can have such a major impact. Chad’s dedication to the members of the community also does not go unnoticed by his peers!
Chad notes, ?I enjoy going out to the schools on a weekly basis to be a positive role model to kids. Although teaching them is important, I also strive to be somebody to look up to. As a kid I really admired the way my role models carried themselves. My role models included my parents, family friends, coaches, and older kids in the hockey community. When somebody goes about their day with respect for
everybody and a positive outlook, I admire that.?
