He has taken his game to the next level on the ice and added great leadership to our group,” stated Bobcats Head Coach and General Manager Nigel Dube. “Tegan has put in the extra work on and off the ice and we have been able to watch his game develop to the next level. He has been a big part of our growth as an organization since coming to the Border City.”

Skehar is excited about his future with Alaska Fairbanks, “I am humbled and honored to commit to such an amazing program at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. I’d like to thank the Bobcats organization for their support and development over the past three years. I’d also like to thank my family, friends, coaches, teammates, trainers, and advisor for helping me along the way, as well as my billet family for making Lloydminster a second home for me. I am extremely excited about my future with the Nanooks!”

The Lloydminster Bobcats would like to congratulate the Skehar family on his commitment to the University of Alaska Fairbanks and NCAA Division I hockey. Skehar becomes the third commitment this season for the Bobcats joining Ethan Aucoin (St. Cloud – NCAA Div I) and Zafir Rawji (MRU – Usport).
