Pfoh, 20, was awarded as the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game for the sixth time this season with a goal and two assists in a 6-3 win over the Grande Prairie Storm on January 18th.  The Saints found themselves on the wrong side of a 5-3 game versus the Canmore Eagles on January 22nd in which Pfoh picked up two more assists to near the 40-mark.  The week ended with a 7-1 victory against the visiting Calgary Canucks and another three-point (1G, 2A) game for Pfoh.

Brett Pfoh leads the division leading Saints with 63 points (23G, 40A), ranking him fifth in the AJHL scoring race.  The native of Port Moody, BC is committed to Bowling Green State University of the NCAA Division I.

The Alberta Ford Dealers AJHL Defensive Player of the Week is defenceman Riley Bodnarchuk who scored two game winning goals for the Okotoks Oilers versus South Division opponents last week.

The hometown boy recorded the first two-goal game of his AJHL career, including the game winner, on January 18th as the Oilers defeated the Olds Grizzlys 7-4.  With two goals and an assist, the game was also Bodnarchuk’s second three-point night of the season.   Riley was selected as the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game on January 20th with an assist and the game winning goal in a 5-2 victory over the Camrose Kodiaks.

The 20 year-old is fifth in team scoring with 26 points (5G, 21A) as he enters the final months of his fourth AJHL season.

The Okotoks Oilers sit fourth in the Viterra AJHL South Division standings and are 7-2-1 in their last ten games.

Defenceman Rylan Brown of the Drayton Valley Thunder is the Inter Pipeline AJHL Rookie of the Week.  The 17-year-old compiled a three game goal streak and recorded five points (3G, 2A) in three games for the Thunder.

Brown (Sherwood Park, AB) scored the game winning goal and added two assists on January 18th as the Thunder posted a 7-3 win over the Fort McMurray Oil Barons.   On January 21st, Rylan scored in the final minute to send the game to overtime, where the Thunder eventually lost 4-3 to the Bonnyville Pontiacs in a shootout.   The final game of the week ended in a 6-4 loss to the Lloydminster Bobcats with Brown scoring a goal in his third consecutive game.  Rylan Brown is fifth in team scoring with 28 points (10G, 18A).
