2021 AJHL Prospects Showcase

The Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) will host the inaugural AJHL Prospects Showcase at River Cree Arenas on June 4th-6th, 2021.

Given the landscape of the 2020-21 hockey season, many are seeing it as a lost season in terms of exposure and development. The AJHL is looking to provide players with a new development experience as well as the unique opportunity to be seen by the General Managers, Coaches and Scouts of the Alberta Junior Hockey League under one roof this Spring.

Participation in the camp is by invite only and registration is limited to 34 players per birth year for athletes born 2003-2006.  This selection process will ensure a competitive development environment for players as they make the step towards Junior hockey.

The 2021 AJHL Prospects Camp will include six on-ice sessions, game play, league information sessions and AJHL apparel for all participants.  On-ice sessions will be led by AJHL Coaches and supported by the league's Athletic Therapists, with all games officiated by AJHL referees.

The AJHL is committed to providing a competitive development opportunity for the elite level athletes identified as AJHL prospects and will adjust the camp if required to achieve this goal.  The contingency plan for the event is July 23rd-25th, 2021.
