The 2019 AJHL Inter Pipeline Cup Playoffs will open on Thursday, March 7th, 2019. The top team in each division will receive a first round bye. The Viterra AJHL South Division and Viterra AJHL North Division will playoff to determine a divisional champion at the conclusion of Round Three. The North Division Champion and the South Division Champion will then compete in the AJHL Inter Pipeline Cup Final.
The top seven teams in each division will make the 2019 Inter Pipeline Cup Playoffs. The first place team in each division will receive a bye during the best-of-five First Round Divisional Playoffs. (2 vs. 7, 3 vs. 6, 4 vs. 5)
The first place team will play the lowest place team remaining in their division and the next highest placed team will play the other team in a best-of-seven series.
Round Three - League Semi-Finals
The remaining two teams in each division will playoff for the title of Division Champion and advance to the League Final. (1 vs. 4 & 2 vs. 3)
Round Four - Inter Pipeline Cup
Viterra AJHL South Division Champion vs. Viterra AJHL North Division Champion.
The AJHL Champion will advance to a best-of-seven series versus the BCHL Champion for the right to represent the Pacific region at the National Junior Championship, similar to the Doyle Cup format that was used from 1962-2012. The best-of-seven series will begin in the AJHL on April 26th & 27th, 2019.
2019 National Junior A Championship
The 2019 National Championship will take place from May 11th – 19th in Brooks, AB
