March 31, 2013 -  Whitecourt player, Dale Deon, has been suspended for one (1) game as a result of being assessed a game misconduct for abuse of an official during a March 30, 2013 game in Spruce Grove.  Mathieu Guertin is suspended for one (1) game as a result of being assessed a gross misconduct.  The suspensions are to be served during the Wolverines’ next scheduled play-off game.

March 3, 2013 - Drayton Valley player, Mason Malkowich, has been suspended for one (1) game as a result of being assessed his fifth infraction under the Junior “A” supplement, rule # 8.1 during a March 2, 2013 game in Grande Prairie.  The suspension is to be served during the Thunders’ next regularly scheduled Play-off game.

March 2, 2013 - Drayton Valley player, Tyler Bettac, has been suspended for five (5) games as a result of being the instigator in a staged fight during a March 1, 2013 game in Drayton Valley.  In addition, Drayton Valley Coach, Fran Gow is suspended for one (1) game. The suspensions are to be served during the Thunders’ next five (5) and/or one (1) regularly scheduled League or playoff games as set out above.

February 27, 2013 - The Drumheller Dragons hockey club will forfeit two-points for playing an ineligible player on February 23, 2013 in Canmore.  The game will be counted as a win for the Canmore Eagles.

Head Coach Brian Curran is suspended for three (3) games under Hockey Alberta bylaw 8.3 for failing to enter the above player in the Hockey Canada Registry.  The suspension is to be served during the Dragons' next two regular season games and game one of the playoffs. 

February 24, 2013 - Whitecourt player, Trace Elson, has been suspended for two (2) games as a result of being assessed a match penalty during a February 23, 2013 game in Whitecourt.  The suspension is to be served during the Wolverines’ next two (2) regularly scheduled League games.

February 24, 2013 - A review has been completed on a hit which injured a Pontiacs’ player during a February 22, 2013 game in Bonnyville.  As a result of the review, Raymond Bell, has been suspended for three (3) games as a result of the hit.   The suspension is to be served during the Bobcats’ next regularly scheduled League game with the balance to be served during the first two (2) regularly scheduled League games of the 2013 – 2014 season.

February 23, 2013 - Drayton Valley player, Neil Tarnasky, has been suspended for one (1) game as a result of being assessed his fifth fight of the season during a February 22, 2013 game in Whitecourt.  The suspension is to be served during the Thunders’ next regularly scheduled League game.

February 23, 2013 - Whitecourt player, Anthony Terenzio, has been suspended for two (2) games as a result of being assessed a major penalty for a blow to the head during a February 22, 2013 game in Whitecourt.  The suspension is to be served during the Wolverines’ next two (2) regularly scheduled League games.

January 31, 2013 - A review has been completed on a hit which injured a Canucks player during a January 28, 2013 game in Brooks.  The hit was reviewed in conjunction with the League’s Video Review Manager and it was concluded that Canucks’ player, Clayton Petrie, was injured as a result of a low hit.  Brooks player, Tyson McCallum, has been suspended for three (3) games as a result of this incident.  The suspension is to be served during the Bandits’ next three (3) regularly scheduled League games.

January 30, 2013 - Calgary Mustangs player, Devin Henes, has been suspended for two (2) games as a result of being assessed his third minor penalty for kneeing this season during a January 29, 2013 game in Canmore.  The suspension is to be served during the Mustangs next two (2) regularly scheduled League games.

January 30, 2013 - Calgary Mustangs player, Blair Wentworth, has been suspended for two (2) games as a result of being assessed his third minor penalty for a blow to the head this season during a January 29, 2013 game in Canmore.  As well, Blair Wentworth, is suspended for an additional one (1) game as a result of being assessed his fifth and sixth accumulative infractions under rule #8.1 of the Junior A supplement.  This three (3) game suspension is to be served after the current two (2) game League imposed suspension is served.

January 30, 2013 -  The Calgary Mustangs have been assessed a League fine for violation of Article 19.4 (vi), following four (4) violations by Mustangs players referencing derogatory statements towards League Officials through social media on January 29, 2013.  Calgary Mustangs players Blair Wentworth and Matt Heseltine are each suspended for two (2) games under Article 30. Tweets by both players on January 29, 2013 using profanity and an Official's full name are deemed as behavior not becoming of an AJHL player in a public forum. The suspensions are to be served during the Mustangs’ next regularly scheduled League games.

December 14, 2012 - Brooks player, Dylan Bredahl, is suspended for three (3) games, as a result of being assessed a match penalty during a December 14, 2012 game in Brooks.  The suspension is to be served during the Bandits’ next three (3) regularly scheduled League games.

December 14, 2012 - Okotoks player, Chris Collins, is suspended for one (1) game, as a result of being assessed a game misconduct for goaltender interference during a December 13, 2012 game in Okotoks.  The suspension is to be served during the Oilers’ next regularly scheduled League game.

December 13, 2012 - Bonnyville player, Locke Muller, is suspended for two (2) games, as a result of being assessed his third minor penalty for kneeing during a December 12, 2012 game in Sherwood Park. This accumulative penalty is covered under the Junior “A” supplement rule # 2.5 which deals with low hits.  The suspension is to be served during the Pontiacs’ next two (2) regularly scheduled League games.

October 21, 2012 - Calgary Mustangs player, Jayden Piattelli, is suspended for two (2) games, as a result of being assessed a major penalty for kneeing during an October 21, 2012 game in Drayton Valley.  The suspension is to be served during the Mustangs’ next two (2) regularly scheduled League games.

October 21, 2012 - Spruce Grove player, Mattia Bortolotto, is suspended for two (2) games, as a result of being assessed a major penalty for boarding during an October 20, 2012 game in Spruce Grove.  The suspension is to be served during the Saints’ next two (2) regularly scheduled League games.

October 12, 2012 - Sherwood Park player, Dane Phaneuf, is suspended for one (1) game, as a result of being assessed a game misconduct for abuse of an official during an October 12, 2012 game in Sherwood Park.  The suspension is to be served during the Crusaders’ next regularly scheduled League game.

October 8, 2012 - Whitecourt player, Robby Jang, is suspended for two (2) games, as a result of being assessed a major penalty for checking from behind during an October 7, 2012 game in Whitecourt.  The suspension is to be served during the Wolverines' next two (2) regularly scheduled League games.

October 5, 2012 - Okotoks player, Cody Michelle, is suspended for one (1) game, as a result of being assessed a gross misconduct during an October 5, 2012 game in Whitecourt.   The suspension is to be served during the Oilers' next regularly scheduled League game.

October 1, 2012 - Calgary Mustangs player, Blair Wentworth, is suspended for one (1) game as a result of being assessed his third boarding minor penalty of the season.  The suspension is to be served during the Calgary Mustangs next regularly scheduled League game.

September 28, 2012 - Drumheller player, Bryton Mills, and Olds player, Austin Kernahan, are each suspended for three (3) games, as a result of being involved in a staged fight during a game on September 28th.  As well, Drumheller player, Christopher Rauckman, and Olds player, Christian Stachiw, are each suspended for one (1) game, as a result of being involved in a fight while one was already in progress.  The suspensions are to be served during the respective teams’ next one(1) and/or three(3) regularly scheduled League games.

September 25, 2012 - Following a video review, Drayton Valley player Nathan Smith is suspended for two (2) games, as a result of his actions, which caused injury to an opposing player during the September 21, 2012 game in Drayton Valley.  The suspension is to be served during the Thunders’ next two (2) regularly scheduled League games.

September 21, 2012 -  Bonnyville player, Tanner Dusyk, is suspended for two (2) games, as per the Junior “A” supplement. This suspension is a result of having been assessed a major penalty for checking from behind during a September 21, 2012 game in Bonnyville.  The suspension is to be served during the Pontiacs’ next two (2) regularly scheduled League games. 

September 16, 2012 - Grande Prairie player, Taylor Cote, is suspended for two (2) games.  This suspension is a result of having been assessed a major penalty for goaltender interference during a September 15, 2012 game in Grande Prairie.  The suspension is to be served during the Storms’ next two (2) regularly scheduled League games.

Drayton Valley player, Eric Sieben, is suspended for two (2) games.  This suspension is a result of having been assessed a major penalty for kneeing during a September 15, 2012 game in Drayton Valley.  The suspension is to be served during the Thunders’ next two (2) regularly scheduled League games.

Bonnyville player, Marc Dubeau, is suspended for two (2) games.  This suspension is a result of having been assessed a major penalty for kneeing during a September 15, 2012 game in Camrose.  The suspension is to be served during the Pontiacs’ next two (2) regularly scheduled League games.

Lloydminster player, Chase Martin, is suspended for three (3) games.  This suspension is a result of having been assessed a match penalty for striking an opponent with his blocker glove during a September 15, 2012 game in Grande Prairie.  The suspension is to be served during the Bobcats’ next three (3) regularly scheduled League games.

September 13, 2012 - Olds player, Dylan Hubbs, is suspended for two (2) games, as a result of being assessed a blow to head major penalty during a September 13, 2012 game in Calgary.  The suspension is to be served during the Grizzlys next two (2) regularly scheduled League games.

September 8, 2012 - Olds player, Chris Stachiw, is suspended for four (4) games.  The suspension is as a result of a cross checking major penalty, which injured an opposing player during a September 8, 2012 game in Olds.  The suspension is to be served during the Grizzlys next four (4) regularly scheduled League games.

Drayton Valley player, Kaiden Tobin, has been suspended for one (1) game, as a result of being assessed a gross misconduct during a September 8, 2012 game in Fort McMurray.  The suspension is to be served during the Thunder's next regularly scheduled League game. 

September 7, 2012 - Camrose player, Ty Clay, has been suspended for two (2) games, for having been assessed a major penalty for checking from behind during a September 7, 2012 game in Camrose.  The suspension is to be served during the Kodiaks next two (2) regularly scheduled League games. 

Olds player, Austin Kernahen, has been suspended for two (2) games, for having been assessed a major penalty for a blow to the head during a September 7, 2012 game in Olds. 
The suspension is to be served during the Grizzlys next two (2) regularly scheduled League games.

September 1, 2012 - Spruce Grove player, Liam McNamara, and Whitecourt player, Ty Morgan, are each suspended for three (3) games, under rule 7.3.1. of the Junior “A” supplement (staged fight) during an August 31, 2012 game in Whitecourt.  The suspensions are to be served during the respective teams’ next three (3) regularly scheduled exhibition and/or League games.

August 26, 2012 - Sherwood Park player Braden Christoffer and Spruce Grove player Dylan Hollman are each suspended for one (1) game, as a result of being involved in a secondary fight during an August 25, 2012 game in Sherwood Park. The suspensions are to be served during the respective teams' next regularly scheduled exhibition game.

August 23, 2012 - Brooks player P. Lee and Olds player R. Rosich are each suspended for one (1) game, as a result of being involved in a secondary fight during an August 22, 2012 game in Olds. The suspensions are to be served during the respective teams’ next regularly scheduled exhibition game.
