Storm Press Release – Rix Commits to Michigan Tech

Dennis Rix will be continuing his hockey career next year in the NCAA.
The Grande Prairie Storm Hockey Club is very pleased to announce that Dennis Rix has committed to the Michigan Tech Huskies of the WCHA for the 2010-2011 season. The Huskies are a NCAA Division 1 Hockey Program located in Houghton, Michigan.
“The coaching staff of the Storm are very proud of Dennis and his recent accomplishment.” Said Coach and GM Mike Vandekamp ” He is very deserving of this opportunity and we look forward to continuing to help Dennis become ready to contribute to the Michigan Tech Huskies Program.”
Rix is currently leading the AJHL in scoring with 17 goals and 27 assists in 22 games played. He has tallied a total of 56 goals and 100 assists in 179 career games with the Storm.
