Thunder Add Assistant Coach & Trainer

The Thunder have completed their coaching staff by adding Bram Stephen behind the bench. That completes the coaching staff for the Thunder after already adding Fran Gow and Mike Mueller earlier in the summer. Bram was most recently the Head Coach of the CAC Bantam AAA program out of Edmonton. Bram has also coached many different teams in the Edmonton area over the last few years and like Head Coach Fran Gow, has been involved with Hockey Alberta and the Alberta Cup. The Thunder feel with the coaching staff they have put together the Thunder will be in good hands for years to come. The Thunder are also very pleased to announce Candice Barnacal as the Head Trainer/Athletic Therapist for the 2009/2010 Season. Candice recently graduated from the Advanced Certificate in Athletic Therapy at Mount Royal College. Candice has worked in the past with the Fort William Junior ‘A’ North Stars in Thunder Bay, Ontario, as well as the Minor Midget AAA Rangers in Calgary. She has also been involved with Hockey Alberta as a trainer in 2008 and 2009 at the Alberta Cup. The Thunder would like to welcome Bram and Candice to the town of Drayton Valley, as well as to the Thunder family.
