CRUSADERS RELEASE: Brett Holmberg heading to Bloomington, Illinois

Sherwood Park Alberta, August 29, 2007 – The Sherwood Park Crusaders are proud to announce that 20-year-old forward, Brett Holmberg, has signed a contract with the Bloomington Prairie Thunder of the IHL (International Hockey League).
Brett has had a tremendous amount of success playing in the AJHL. In the 221 games he played for the Crusaders, he recorded 93 goals and 112 assists for 205 points. Brett was the MVP the past three seasons with the Crusaders as well as the top scorer in each of those seasons. He played for the gold medal winners of the Viking Cup in 2006 and was voted to the 1st line all-star team in that tournament.
The Crusaders Organization would like to congratulate Brett and wish him the greatest success in his future hockey career.
